Document Storage Server

The core of the QuickFile is the Document Storage Server (DSS). This platform built according to the best industry standards and practices manages transparently all documents, meta-data and devices assigned to the server.

DSS is a scalable server relying on industry standard database management systems to maintain all document and meta-information. DSS continues to rely on the commonly known file systems to store documents as files; an architecture known for decades.

This allows any ICT-department to fit DSS in the daily operating procedures such as easy back-up and restore and standard monitoring tools.

DSS supports the use of well-known hardware devices for large and long-term document archiving.
